But it is not all about size. Valera is also concerned with the environment, and these trucks are fitted with 'Euro 4' engines. These are the latest technology available, and reduce carbon and gases emitted into the atmosphere by 75% compared to pre-1993 engines, and use less fuel.
We are also ensuring that we fully comply with all transport regulations, and the latest digital tachographs are not only tamper proof, they can be analysed quickly by downloading onto the transport managers' laptop.
By using larger vehicles with higher load capacities, it means less vehicle movements are needed, which, when combined with the new Euro 4 engines, results in a significant benefit to the environment.
