The Sanyo EMCD 2900 commercial combi oven may be compact but it made a big impression on the judges in the Caterer & Hotelkeeper Equipment and Supplies Excellence Awards 2008, securing a coveted commendation.
Distributed exclusively by Valera, the easy-to-use Sanyo EMCD 2900 was commended in the Combis, Steamers, Microwaves category of the awards, which took place at Hotelympia 2008.
The compact, counter-top unit combines three cooking modes: microwave; convection; or microwave and convection together; and features as many as 50 pre-set programmes, each with up to three stages, to ensure speedy and consistent results. Other features which attracted the attention of the judging panel included a number of energy-saving devices such as automatic shutdown.
One impressed judge summed up: “This is the best product on the market with these facilities.”
